Top 5 youtube Discoveries

I am a fan of Top 5 Lists and of YouTube.com as well. Ever since it's debut six years ago it revolutionize video sharing and made ordinary people to make their own home movies as well. Being a YouTube addict I have made it my in demand TV. Here are the wonderful things (Top 5) I have found while exploring this website.

1.Bollywood
Gossip shows, talk shows especially the witty and funny Coffee with Karan and even movies divided into ten parts with subtitles, as a curious fellow on this huge and prolific movie making industry it's a gold mine. And I don't have to search the torrents for downloads!

2. How to make Mexican food
I go crazy over Mexican cuisine from nachos to chimichangas, you name it, I'll eat it twice. Since it is easier to make a dish via visual and auditory instructions instead of reading recipes, any ambitious person attempting to pull off a feat of preparing an authentic Mexican feast, don't fret mi amigo, it's just a click away and you can watch it all over and over again until you can get the perfect taste!

3. Funny or Die
Droll and laugh out loud skits that are intelligent for a person full of humor or to anyone who just wants a loud guffaw at the end of a bad day, this channel will never disappoint. You can see here James Franco, Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Neil Patrick Harris, Zach Galfianakis and many more famous faces making a fool out of themselves gamely.

4. Pinoy soap operas and old TV shows
From the original Mara Clara to horror ratings topper !Oka Tokat (remember this TV show which frightened a lot of kids back then) and even old episodes of Kris Aquino's now defunct Oprah inspired talk show, it's all here. And there is no excuse to miss out on the latest episodes of the hottest teleseryes in the air - Imortal, Mara Clara, Mutya and Green Rose. It's uploaded and updated!

5. One Hit Wonders of the 90s.
Since MTV is no longer broad casted in our digital cable box and MYX is currently flooded with K Pop tunes, YouTube has a broad collection of obscure videos that were once overplayed a decade or more ago in MTV Asia. Remember Ultra, 5ive, Anggun, Spin Doctors, among others they are all in YouTube for nostalgia's sake.

Honorable Mention: Miss Universe Pageants
If you are big fan or gearing up for a Trivia game on this category, this site has amazingly a vast amount of videos from the National Costumes down to the coronation which goes as far as the 1970s.

I hope that YouTube.com will always be free. Or I'll go into a Major Clinical Depression.
